MLM Business Success | Changes International® -- Fuggedaboudit!

Changes International® has two of the requirements I consider vitally necessary to meet my criteria for a good MLM opportunity.  It has good products, and a good compensation plan.  Both are exceptional compared to the rest of the MLM industry  It also is a subsidiary of and has the financial backing of a major mainstream corporation.

(The above is as of February, 1999; I have no idea of their present status.)

Where it falls down is in the areas of attitude and support.  The owner of the company when it was independent, and now officer of the company as a subsidiary, Scott Paulson, is arrogant and bullying.  At lot of distributors have left or been forced to leave because of his actions, I have heard.  I'm one of them.

The only promotional materials and methods that may be used are essentially those provided by the company.  Distributor generated materials have to be "blessed" by the company, but any such submitted fall into a "black hole", never to be seen again.  This would not be a problem, except that the company blessed materials and methods are expensive and not self-financing for the average distributor.

On this web site, I have several generic articles about MLM.  At the end of each, I had included a link (now deleted) to the Changes International® company web site.  Now, I have not received any communication from the company for months, but illustrative of their attitude, they now have some bimbo with the title of "Compliance Coordinator" whose job is obviously to browse the web, looking for "loose cannon" distributor web promoters.  She recently found my site and wrote me a letter with orders to make "proper corrections".  That is, I have received nothing from them for months, and the first thing after all that time is something to "ding" me.

Here are a couple of my "offenses".

1. I used the term "MLM" in my GENERIC pages.  Excuuuuse me!  The "approved" terms are "Direct sales/Network Marketing".  I can't use "MLM" on my own web pages, according to Ms Compliance Coordinator.
   
   
2. I had a link to another company I was associated with at the time.
   According to Ms. Compliance Coordinator, "Changes International cannot be listed with other Network Marketing or Nutrition Companies".  Again, excuuuuuse me!   I thought we were INDEPENDENT representatives.  Am I missing something? -- like a salary check!

For reasons such as these, I no longer am associated with Changes International®.  There are other opportunities out there.

My recommendations for your Network Marketing success is that you seek out Network Marketing companies with quality compensation programs and quality products at reasonable prices, as well as first class distributor support.

If MLM companies you are interested in do not meet ALL the requirements as outlined in "How to Evaluate a Network Marketing Opportunity", you will suffer frustration, undeserved loss of self-confidence, and serious loss of time and money.

You can't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse; you can't even turn something "close" into a winner, as I have found through bitter experience.  "Close, but no cigar" doesn't count; it's all or nothing.

To learn how to determine which Network Marketing companies will provide you a good chance of actually making some money, in addition to making available to you many of the products you will require for a long and healthy life, you really need to GET AND READ the VITALLY IMPORTANT book "How to Evaluate a Network Marketing - MLM Opportunity".
