New MLM Business Opportunity Success | Wave 3:  The New Era in Network Marketing

Most people have outdated views of Network Marketing (NWM) aka Multi-Level Marketing (MLM).  When approached with a MLM opportunity, their reactions are something like:  "Oh, @#$%&!, not another MLM promotion.  I hate MLM.  MLM is a ripoff.  No one I know ever made money in MLM.  Get out of my face!"

Or, "I'm not a salesman; I hate selling."  (Meaning, perhaps, "I'm afraid of selling; I find it threatening; I can't deal with rejection.")

"Wave 3", by Richard Poe¹, addresses your possibly outdated views, and your fears.  And he addresses the possibilities of your hitching a ride on one of the few remaining vehicles (MLM) in America by which the average person can achieve substantially more than a mere subsistence lifestyle.  If you are one of those who still refuses to consider investigating and getting involved in MLM, chances are that you are going to be left buried in the dust, when the dust settles after the economic upheaval of the 70s through the 90s winds down.

The world economy has undergone and is continuing in profound structural changes.  Two profoundly important books describing these changes are "Blood in the Streets", and "The Great Reckoning:  Protect Yourself in the Coming Depression", by Davidson & Rees-Mogg^2,3.  These two books may be rather heavy reading, but "Wave 3" is light -- and shows you that there can be light at the end of the tunnel.

"Network Marketing is exploding as a powerful force in the new era of global marketing."  $20 billion annually in Japan; $15 billion in America.  (Yes, the Japanese are ahead of us there, too.)

"The white collar displacement of the 1990s will make the blue collar displacement of the 1980s pale by comparison."  "... we're going to see fantastic economic growth.  But we'll also see 20% unemployment.  Sounds like a contradiction.  But that's the reality!"

Permanent underemployment ... "Many ... underemployed professionals are going straight into [MLM] companies.  The same technology that eliminated their jobs ... is now creating opportunities in the expanding Wave-Three sector."

These are but a few of the reasons you should consider MLM.  The important question you likely have is, "Fine, but me?"  The answer is, "Yes."  In the Wave 1 and Wave 2 MLM era, it did take "salesmen" types to make a go of MLM.  The Wave 3 technology/infrastructure now makes it possible for the average none-too-aggressive person to be successful in MLM.  There is hope!

If, in the past, you have tried one or more MLM opportunities, it's likely that you have been been disappointed.  Next time, make sure you get involved with a SUBSTANTIAL MLM opportunity.

My recommendations for your Network Marketing success is that you seek out Network Marketing companies with quality compensation programs and quality products at reasonable prices, as well as first class distributor support.

If MLM companies you are interested in do not meet ALL the requirements as outlined in "How to Evaluate a Network Marketing Opportunity", you will suffer frustration, undeserved loss of self-confidence, and serious loss of time and money.

You can't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse; you can't even turn something "close" into a winner, as I have found through bitter experience.  "Close, but no cigar" doesn't count; it's all or nothing.

Serious opportunity seekers take the time to do "due diligence" research into the network marketing opportunities they are considering.  To learn how to determine which Network Marketing companies will provide you a good chance of actually making some money, in addition to making available to you many of the products you will require for a long and healthy life, you really need to GET AND READ the VITALLY IMPORTANT book "How to Evaluate a Network Marketing - MLM Opportunity".
