Learn to Distinguish "MLM Reality" from "Hype and Hope"

"Insanity can be defined as doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result."

For awhile, in the mid-1990s, I thought Multilevel Marketing might become a worthwhile alternative to the "job" for many people.  It didn't.  The MLM proponents do a superb job of describing the problems of depending on a job.  Unfortunately, for various reasons, many of which are described in my pages linked to below, Multilevel Marketing success is still not attainable for more than a few.

What's the Problem with Most MLM Companies?

The problem is, most MLM compensation plans, aka "marketing plans", suck.  They are not designed for the success of the average person.  Most are designed by and for charismatic hucksters, hypsters, and scamsters.  Somehow, hundreds of thousands, millions, of average people (perhaps like yourself) have become convinced by the "MLM gurus" that they can achieve the same success as the hypsters, working with the compensation plans designed by and for the hypsters.  NOT gonna happen for the average person.

The Problem is...
"It's the PAY PLAN, Pardner!™"

If you really want to achieve MLM success, you have to get involved with Network Marketing companies that have compensation plans (pay plans) that allow YOU to make money, not just the companies, the founders, the "heavy hitters", and your upline.

Learn to Distinguish "MLM Reality" from "Hype and Hope"

My recommendations for your Network Marketing success is that you seek out Network Marketing companies with quality compensation programs and quality products at reasonable prices, as well as first class distributor support.

If MLM companies you are interested in do not meet ALL the requirements as outlined in "How to Evaluate a Network Marketing Opportunity", you will suffer frustration, undeserved loss of self-confidence, and serious loss of time and money.

You can't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse; you can't even turn something "close" into a winner, as I have found through bitter experience.  "Close, but no cigar" doesn't count; it's all or nothing.

To learn how to determine which Network Marketing companies will provide you a good chance of actually making some money, in addition to making available to you many of the products you will require for a long and healthy life, you really need to GET AND READ the VITALLY IMPORTANT book "How to Evaluate a Network Marketing - MLM Opportunity".

The MLM Retail Sales Requirement is...
a Major Reason for So Many MLM Failures!

My opinion is that many MLMs are "forced" into being scams BECAUSE of the retail sales requirement legal crap.  That requirement is foisted upon the industry by typically ignorant politicians.  But ignorance has never kept a politician from screwing with your life and livelihood, though, has it?

Maybe, if you bother to vote, you should consider not throwing your vote away again on Demopublicans and Republicrats and, instead, vote for libertarians, constitutionalists, or other independent candidates who stand for the government butting out of your business.

"If you keep voting for the same crap candidates, you will continue getting the same crap candidates to vote for."

Anyway...
Ideally, The distributors ARE the customers.  NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.  The days of a distributor running around town delivering product are over.  That is what computers and dropshipping are for.  There is nothing wrong with a requirement that a customer order a nominal amount of product each month to qualify as a commission/override receiving distributor.

In my view, a customer/distributor (rep) can sign up others as customers, and let the company handle all the further interaction.  Then the introducing rep gets commissions on the orders of those he has introduced, perpetually.  And, for a few levels up.  And, any customer can qualify for commissions/overrides by his own nominal monthly personal order (personal volume - PV).  I do NOT agree with the group volume crap and all the other compensation plan fillips that the MLM companies have come up with that serve only to enrich the founders and their cronies.

Eliminating the retail sales requirement would do much to enable the MLM industry to become mostly legitimate, instead of mostly scams, as at present.  Will it happen?  No "effing" way  That's why I am no longer active in network marketing aka MLM.
